This Privacy Policy explains how Facade365 (“Facade365”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Facade365 mobile and web applications and related services (the “Service”). Facade365 is a quality-assurance platform used by construction and façade teams to capture site inspections, snagging and tasks, photos, and annotated plans.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, organisation, and role, used to create and secure your account and to associate the work you record with you.
  • Content you create. Inspection forms, tasks and snags, comments, signatures, and the location pins and annotations you place on project drawings. This may include personal data where you choose to enter it.
  • Photos and files. Images and attachments you capture or upload as evidence against inspections and tasks. Photos may contain embedded metadata (such as capture time).
  • Device and diagnostic data. Technical information such as device model, operating-system version, app version, and diagnostic, crash, and synchronisation logs, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account.
  • Store and synchronise the inspection records, tasks, and media you create.
  • Generate reports and exports from the data you and your organisation enter.
  • Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability of the Service.
  • Communicate with you about your account and service-related matters.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

Where the UK GDPR applies, we process personal data to perform our contract with you or your organisation, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations.

How we store and protect it

Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, and access is restricted to authorised personnel and the members of your organisation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who host and operate the Service on our behalf, with other members of your organisation as part of normal collaboration, and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. UK and EU users also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for use by professionals in a workplace setting and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
